I am a registered clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. I practice in English, in the 11th & 17th arrondissements of Paris.
I am an integrative therapist, this means that while I work predominantly with attachment and intersubjective psychodynamic theory, I frequently use elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Systemic Therapy, Mindfulness-based practice and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
I am guided by the clinical evidence for treatment approaches that have been shown to be effective for specific problems, and I tailor my treatment plans in collaboration with my clients in order to meet their immediate needs, and longer-term goals.
I aim to work collaboratively to improve functioning from the first session as well as moving towards deeper perspectives on life, and improved awareness of the self and one's relationships.
I obtained my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (Cum Laude) from Stellenbosch University near Cape Town, South Africa.
I also have a second, research master's in Psychology (Cum Laude) and I have pub lished in peer-reviewed academic journals in the field of mentorship and diversity in medical training. I am also available for training and consultation in the field of stress management and mental health promotion in schools, and the workplace.
